Rosemary is a non-executive director and former Head of International Regulatory Affairs for Lloyd’s of London.
She serves as a non-executive director and chair of the risk committee for the Lloyd's and London market insurers in the Newline Group. She is a member of the Actuarial Council at the Financial Reporting Council, a member of Lloyd’s Enforcement Tribunal Panel, a former member of the Board and Council of the Chartered Insurance Institute, a Vice President and former Council member of the Insurance Institute of London and an Associate of the Girls’ Day School Trust.
Rosemary has a Master’s degree in Classics from Cambridge University and is a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute. She is married and lives in London with her husband, Jonathan, a barrister who works for a City investment bank and their two daughters, Antonia, who is reading History at Exeter University and Gabriella, who is an Apprentice Loriner and a keen horsewoman, studying for her A-levels.
Rosemary’s main interest scuba diving in British waters, especially in Scotland, where she has dived in Mull, St Kilda and on the WW1 German Battle Fleet in Scapa Flow on several occasions, including with Antonia who has also taken up diving. She enjoys open water swimming (without a wetsuit) in the sea and Tooting Lido. She loves Italy, especially Rome, which she has visited on many holidays with her family over the last 40 years.
