Users will be able to log in to the Webinar 15 minutes before the session begins at 10am and will also be able to submit questions to the panellists during the Webinar.

Eamon leads the insurance risk and regulation practice at EY and has spent 18 years working in financial services including roles in industry and at the regulator. He focuses on developing and delivering pragmatic risk and regulatory solutions across the insurance market.

Stephanie Lord
Senior Manager

Stephanie is a senior manager in EY’s London insurance regulatory advisory practice. ​ She has worked in financial services since 1999 with a focus on the UK life, pensions, investments and mortgage markets. Stephanie initially trained as an IFA and has previously held roles in compliance and risk management in industry and other consulting firms.

Olivia Brown
Senior Manager, Ernst & Young LLP 

Olivia is an actuary, focussing on Lloyd’s and the wider London market. She has experience of claims reserving, capital, Solvency II and strategy and transaction work. She joined EY in 2011 after graduating from Oxford University.

David Staunton
Senior Manager, Ernst & Young LLP 

David is an actuary and focuses on the specialty insurance market, including Lloyd's. He has experience of claims reserving, capital, Solvency II and analytics.  David joined EY in 2006 after graduating from the University of Nottingham with first class honours degree in mathematics and economics.

Niranjan Nathan
Partner, Ernst & Young LLP 

Niranjan is the lead partner of EY’s UK P&C Actuarial team. He has over 20 years of experience as a professional in the general insurance industry. His experience spans risk, actuarial pricing, reserving, capital management, portfolio and business monitoring, strategy development and implementation monitoring.

Andy Worth
Associate Partner, Ernst & Young LLP 

Andy has 20 years’ experience in the insurance and reinsurance industry. Andy trained as an underwriter with Zurich (Eagle Star) in the London Market before moving onto strategic project work. Andy worked for two other large consultancy firms before returning to EY as an insurance specialist. Andy is ACII and MBA Qualified. Andy looks after a portfolio of London and Bermuda clients.



Following this Workshop, delegates should, at a high level, be able to:

  • Describe the financial performance of the London Specialty Market in 2019 and compare with prior years’ performance
  • Provide insights as to why individual firms have over or underperformed over the period
  • Understand current trends in reserving across London Market Specialty firms
  • Utilise up to date regulatory information to enable positive contributions to board deliberations

This iNED Forum is open to insurance Non-executive Directors (iNEDS), aspiring iNEDS, Company Secretaries, Compliance staff and all those involved with corporate governance, underwriting, broking and risk management in the insurance sector.

There is no requirement for delegates to be members of the Worshipful Company of Insurers.
