London Air Ambulance, this year's Master's charity, will tell members about the fantastic work it does helping Londoners and visitors to London.

It will come as no surprise to members to learn that the delayed Installation Dinner planned for 24 March has had to be postponed again.

In its place Master David Sales has arranged a free online event for members to learn more about the work of his chosen charity, the London Air Ambulance.

"Many people owe their lives to the tremendous work of the air ambulance teams", said Mr Sales.

"I wanted to support a charity that was specific to London because that is where the vast majority of our members, their families and their colleagues live and work. It is so important for people in London to have this vital service.”

For most of the last year, the charity has had to suspend all its public fundraising activities, pot collections and non-essential meetings if social distancing guidance cannot be followed. It has also closed its shop at The Royal London Hospital. Members and their firms are therefore being encouraged to support its work as part of this event. There will be an opportunity to donate online during the evening or in advance.

At the end of the presentation there will be an opportunity to raise a glass to each other and stay for an informal conversation with the Master and colleagues.
