The Woolman's Company Annual Sheep Drive is back for 2021. Sunday 26 September is the date. Southwark Bridge is the place.

It is great family day out in support of two fantastic causes. All proceeds from the annual Sheep Drive and Wool & Livery Fair support the Woolmen’s Company Charitable Trust and Lord Mayor’s Appeal.

Both events will be attended by a special guest and the incumbent Lord Mayor of London.

With the support of the City of London this year the Woolman's Company plans to continue with the use of Southwark Bridge (as per 2020). A fantastic “first” as the entire bridge will be closed to traffic for the day with designated public access.

With the Sheep Drive and Fair situated together on the bridge (ideally located between St Paul’s Cathedral north side and Shakespeare’s Globe on the Southbank), this opens up endless opportunities for a wonderful day out for the whole family.

"Our aim has always been to deliver an event that is a safe, fun day out and full compliance will be made to prevailing government approved social distancing and safety guidelines", say the organisers.

Places are open to Freemen of the City of London and their family and friends at £65 per person. This will entitle each participant to a place on the drive and a commemorative certificate signed by the Lord Mayor and the Master Woolman. Booking is not open yet but further details can be found on the Sheep Drive website.
