Master hails a year of growth

In his New Year video message to members Master Nick Dunlop hailed 2022 as a year of growth for the Company, marked by success on several fronts.

 

“The WCI is in good shape. We have a record number of members and a strong pipeline of individuals who want to join the Company.”

He said he was proud to report that the year saw the WCI’s Charitable Trust make record donations to support a wide range of good causes and praised an “incredible diversity programme which I am thrilled to say is one of the leaders in the market”.

The Master said 2022 would also be remembered as a year in which the Company made a significant contribution to the City Civic with the current Lord Mayor Nicholas Lyons a member of the company, seven members elected as Common Councillors, three serving as Aldermen and Alderwomen and two members as prospective Sheriffs for the following year.
