Joining a committee

The Master, Wardens, members of the Court and the Clerk have worked hard to make it far easier for members to get involved with the Company. As part of this we have formulated a process of placing volunteers into roles where they can contribute to the work of the WCI.

We often have vacancies on the various committees and if you are unfamiliar with what they are, they are as follows: Charitable Trust, Membership, Livery (events), iNED, iWIN and for the under 45s, iENGAGE.

We also offer mentoring opportunities and the chance to be the WCI link with our charitable and military affiliations. We also ask that members, attending our formal events, put themselves forward to welcome our Company guests or someone attending for the first time.

If you would like to be considered as a Committee member or would just like to explore getting more involved please send a copy of your CV to the Clerk, identifying which opportunities you are interested in. We will then add you to our volunteer list.

Please don’t be put off if you are new as we welcome interest from all our members.

The following guides might be useful if you are considering offering your services for one of these roles.
