Lloyd’s: Enduring Purpose New Strategy

The Worshipful Company of Information Technologists’ (WCIT) Financial Services Technology Panel is proud to announce its landmark annual keynote dinner, featuring a keynote address by Sir Charles Roxburgh, Chair of Lloyd’s.

Sir Charles will explore how the Lloyd’s market is building on more than 337 years of innovation to position itself in a rapidly changing world. The risk landscape demands that a storied institution such as Lloyd’s raise the bar and fulfil its purpose of bringing together the world’s leading risk takers to advance global progress. The session will address Lloyd’s new strategy – disciplined and market-led, with a necessary sharpening of its financial edge to maximise its unique capital advantage. He will outline how Lloyd’s is uniquely structured to connect the global insurance ecosystem, consistently turning emerging threats into insurable realities, thereby advancing and protecting its position as the pre-eminent global marketplace for insurance risk.
