Winter Concert: London Phoenix Orchestra

This year’s Winter Concert is in support of the Worshipful Company of Insurers and its chosen charities.

Christmas comes earlier every year, but this time the London Phoenix Orchestra is prepared, with a menu full of temptations.

Take one chunk of Shostakovich to set the festive mood, a slice of traditional Nutcracker arranged by Duke Ellington to add a bit of fizz, and generous servings of Snow White for flavour. Garnish with dollops of Leroy Anderson and a healthy portion of audience carols. Cook for an hour or so, taking a break halfway through, and serve with mulled wine and mince pies.

This is a great opportunity for you and your colleagues to organise an early night out as a team on the fringe of the City, leaving time for post-concert drinks and supper.
