Be Part of History – Help Set a New World Record and Learn to Save a Life

The Central London Alliance is attempting to set a new world record for the largest Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) relay, with an ambitious target of 4,000 participants – and they would love members of every Livery Company to take part.

The Worshipful Company of Nurses is taking the lead and helping to disseminate information about the event. This initiative based in the City is supported by the Lady Mayor's City Giving Day team, and the City of London Corporation is a Brand Partner of the Central London Alliance CIC (the main organisers) and as such, it would be very appropriate for your members to join in and take part.

Every participant will receive CPR training, so whether or not the record is broken, thousands more people will leave with the knowledge and confidence to act in an emergency. It's a world record attempt with a lasting legacy.

To qualify for the record, the CPR relay must run continuously for 39 hours, making every participant an essential part of this incredible challenge.

Each person will need to perform 60 seconds of continuous cardiac compressions.
