Book NowGuildhall will host a very special Gala Dinner this spring to raise vital funds for Treloar’s, a specialist school and college for physically disabled children and young people up to 25, providing not only education but the tools to foster independence, confidence, and opportunity.
The Mayoralty has supported Treloar’s for over 119 years, ever since Sir William Purdie Treloar founded the organisation in 1907 as part of his Mayoral appeal. This enduring relationship continues today, by hosting an annual gala dinner to champion its life-changing work. I also look forward to visiting Treloar’s this year to see this first hand.
This year marks the 20th Anniversary of the Gala Dinner, first held by the late Lord Mayor Sir David Brewer. To celebrate, we’re embracing an Emerald City as “There’s no place like Treloar’s.” Expect a magical evening filled with fundraising opportunities to support these extraordinary young people.
Actor, Broadcaster, DJ, Musician and Spandau Ballet legend Martin Kemp will be trading his bass for the decks, bringing his iconic Back to the 80s DJ set to the dancefloor. Expect wall-to-wall anthems, retro throwbacks and a non-stop sing-along.
